The Project Safe Thrift Store is a sub-component of Project Safe, Inc. designed to raise funds to support the organization’s mission as well as provide an affordable outlet everyone in the city of Athens and surrounding communities.

• A large Book(s) and Magazine(s) section that includes subjects ranging from children’s books, fiction, non-fiction, textbooks, history, religion, self-help, cooking, and much more!!!
• Fun Games for those young in age and those young at heart
• A wide range of Household items such as kitchen supplies, bathroom toiletries, personal care items, and much more!!!
• New and Used Furniture
• Electronic Devices such as televisions, computers, printers, fax machines, phones, scanners, etc.
• A range of Music and Videos items including vintage vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, VHS, headphones, speakers, etc.
• New and Used Sport Equipment
• New and Used Shoes
• Numerous Accessories
• Volunteer Seamstress who provides alterations services on Thursdays between 12:00pm-3:00pm

Every purchase you make at the Project Safe Thrift Store helps support our mission of ending domestic violence. More specifically, 90 cents of every dollar goes towards supporting Project Safe programs and services.
Project Safe clients also receive donated merchandise directly from the Thrift Store to help make their transitions easier. Each month, over 80 individuals receive in excess of 500 items at no charge.

Are you interested in being a volunteer at the Project Safe Thrift Store?
Make a difference in your local community by volunteering at the Project Safe Thrift Store. Thrift Store Volunteers assist with the following areas:
• Accepting Donations
• Preparing Items for Display on the Sales Floor
• Organizing Shopping Aisles
• Cleaning the Store
